Call for submissions: January Telltales and Telltales Ten
December 28th, 2017 | Published in Frontpage
Submissions are now open for our next Telltales event. That’s on Tuesday, 30 January, 7:30 at Dolly’s Wine Bar in Falmouth. The theme is Second Thoughts–those doubts or insights or revelations that come later–after the decision is made, the die is cast, the strategy in place, the journey underway—etc.
We welcome all forms of writing, e.g. stories and poems, scripts, memoirs, essays. And if you have something you’d like to share that has nothing to do with the theme, don’t worry. Send it in! But we can can give each reader only ten minutes. That works out to less than 1600 words of prose or about three fairly short poems.
Please submit your work here, on the right side of this page, by 12:00 noon on Monday, 22 January.
And…for those who know Telltales, we’ll be celebrating a ten-year anniversary this spring. Please think back on what Telltales has meant to you or people you know. If you have stories, descriptions, and images, or anecdotes, we’d love to read/see them!
