Past and Perfect. 29 March’s Telltales an ideal evening of wordcraft.

The Rum Bar in Falmouth was packed out on Tuesday with an eager audience lapping up the words of Cornwall’s creative writing talent at Telltales XXIV: Future, Perfect.
From the biscuit love of Mac Dunlop to the powerful poetry of Fi Read, from Nick Jarvis’ witty social commentary to Ian Stevens’ cautionary tale, the evening showcased a broad range of writers from across the spectrum and a great time was had by all.
Thanks to The Rum Bar for inviting us round to play and to everyone for coming.
The next Telltales: XXV will be on Tuesday the 24 May (we’ve got to shift it forward a week so put it in your diaries now) and the theme will be Halcyon.
Think calm waters, summer settings, nostalgic memories, the eye of the storm or even mythical greek birds. Whatever the phrase conjures up for you.
Submissions to read out at May’s Telltales are now open. Simply upload your work using the form on the right of this page, then we’ll have a read and get back to you to let you know if you have been successfully programmed.
We look forward to reading your stuff!
