A Dreamy November – Events in Falmouth and Looe

We have two exciting events for you coming up in November – a new opportunity to read your work at Looe Litfest as well our regular evening at Dolly’s Falmouth.

Submissions Open

Submissions are open till 31 October for Looe Litfest. The theme is The Sea and entries should be more more than 1,000 words long. Biography, fiction, poetry and non-fiction are all welcome. Email your work to douglasbence@btinternet.com. The selected work will be read at the Millpool Centre, Looe on Saturday 18 November, 7pm onwards, and there will also be singing by Jig the Quavers. Free event. More information here.

Our November Telltales will take place on 28 November at Dolly’s Wine Bar, Church St, Falmouth. The theme is Dream On, and we welcome submissions up to 1,600 words. All words are welcome, whether poetry or prose. Submit by noon on 20 November via the website form on the right. Any problems, email us info@telltales.org.uk. Come along to this free event from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
