October Review and Coming Events

On 4 October the Honey theme brought forth: a new suite of poems from Liz Lloyd King,the first chapter of a new novel from julia Schofield, a family memoir and exploration of a local walking route from Nancy Roth,a piquant poem on queen bee associations from Sarah Thomas, a darkly humorous short story from Heather Hosking,, and a strikingly evocative look at root human relations via performance poetry from Mac Dunlop.

The next Telltales will be on Tuesday 29 November at Dolly’s Wine Bar Falmouth, with the theme of Ghosts. Submissions should take up to ten minutes to read out.Please submit via the form on the right of this page. Submissions off-theme are welcome too.

Upcoming Events:

The Barn, Trelissick, 2 P.M. 19 October. Afternoon readings, organised by Kernow Arts Education Partnership. Writers include AnnaMaria Murphy, Bert Biscoe, Jane Darke,Mac Dunlop and others. Price £12 includes cream tea.

Sat. 12th./Sun. 13th. November, Contemporary Poetry Festival, Falmouth. Includes Slam, Open Mic, Discussions. More details from Falmouth Poetry Group.
