Telltales in September – Someone Told Me…

September 1st, 2024  |  Published in Frontpage

Our theme for Telltales in September is Someone Told Me….

We look forward to seeing your submissions on this topic, in any way.

Here are some possible inspirations to get you writing:

  • A rumour or piece of gossip?
  • A bit of family history?
  • Heard on the grapevine?
  • “Have you heard the one about…?”
  • A spy story based on wiretapping?
  • Good news from a friend?
  • A secret revealed?

How might you respond to our theme?

We’re keen to see your creative input, whether in poetry, prose, short story or an excerpt from a longer work. Please think in terms of a maximum of 10 minutes of reading or around 1500 words.

Please submit by Saturday 21 September to info@telltales.org.uk

Telltales takes place on Tuesday 24 September, 6pm at Falmouth Princess Pavilion in the Garden Room.

Thank you!

And here are the dates for future Telltales events: Tuesday 26 November at Falmouth Art Gallery
