Telltales – Rebellion – Would you like to read?

October 20th, 2019  |  Published in Frontpage

Would you like to read at Telltales on 26 November?

Our next Telltales event in November is on the theme of Rebellion.

We’re thinking dissent in any of its many forms: Stories of rebellions and uprisings in history, disobedience in your childhood, minor acts of rebellion in your daily life, saying “no” when others might say “yes” – or “yes” when others might say “no” – protesting, demonstrating, striking for your rights, boycotts of consumer products, living in different ways to the “norm”.

We welcome all forms of writing: poetry, prose, short stories or excerpts from longer works. Please think in terms of 10 minutes of reading or around 1600 words on paper.

To submit your work please email info@telltales.org.uk or use the form on of our website.

The deadline for submissions is 22 November.

November’s Telltales takes place on Tuesday 26 November at Dolly’s in Falmouth, at 7pm.

We look forward to receiving your submissions.
