Telltales; Origins 30 November
November 15th, 2010 | Published in Frontpage
This month’s Telltales on the 30 November is an extra special one.
Not only will writers from across the spectrum be sharing their work with eager ears, we’re celebrating the launch of our very first publication The Parabola Project. Showcasing the talents of 11 writers and providing a platform for the region’s talented illustrators and photographers too, it’s been four months of hard slog but we’ve made it and it is looking beautiful. We can’t wait to show it to you all and hopefully sell you a copy!
The format of the evening will be much like any normal Telltales but with a dose of Parabola in the mix, we’ll have two or three readings from writers who have submitted on the theme Origins (there’s still time if you are interested in reading out – use the form on the right to submit), followed by two or three readings from the book itself. There’ll also be bubbly, goody bags and a chance to chat to the team behind The Parabola Project as well as to be one of the first to pick up a copy for yourself. It’s only £4 and every penny goes back into the publishing pot for issue II.
A real passion project, we really hope you can find the time to come along from 7pm on the 3o November and support Cornwall’s creative writing scene.
