Painting with Words – Your submissions are welcome!
July 3rd, 2021 | Published in Frontpage
For Telltales on 27 July we’re looking forward to your submissions on the theme of “Painting with Words“.
We’re thinking of ekphrastic poetry – poems inspired by a painting – or short stories, prose or excerpts from longer works, pieces rich in imagery, painting a picture with words, accounts of dreams, surrealistic scenes, verbal tableaux vivants, favourite journeys & places & events brought alive in words.
We’re running this Telltales as a live event – out in the open air at Gyllyngdune Gardens, Princess Pavilion, Falmouth.
Submissions are open until Friday 23 July for poetry, prose, short stories and excerpts from longer works. Please think in terms of around 1500 words maximum, which is around 10 minutes. We look forward to hearing from you.
Please submit via email to info@telltales.org.uk
The July edition of Telltales will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday 27 July 2021.
