Telltales at HfC this January
January 8th, 2013 | Published in Uncategorized
That’s right, for one night only Telltales is taking to the Hall for Cornwall stage (in the Assembly Rooms). On Thursday 24 January from 7pm a roster of eight very talented writers from across Cornwall’s creative spectrum will be reading out their work for listeners to enjoy. From poetry and prose to short stories and scripts we’ve got a bit of everything – it promises to be a corker of a night.
After record submissions in December it was a tough task deciding who to include in the line up, but we got there. Safe to say its an eclectic and exciting mix as always, including poet Nick Jarvis, sci-fi writer Ben Power, rising talent Aaron Kent and award-winning writer Felicity Notley. Not to mention our My Cornwall competition winner Douglas Bence, who’ll be sharing his story An Unexpected Guest.
So don’t forget to put it in your diary Thursday 24 January from 7pm at the Assembly Rooms, Hall for Cornwall, Truro.
It’s free as always, but you’ll have to call the box office to book – on 01872 262466.
So book your ticket now and we look forward to seeing you there in 2013!
