Our theme for Telltales in January 2023 is Let’s Talk.

For this theme we’re looking for readings that are entirely in dialogue, whether for two, three or more voices.

Perhaps you have an idea for a new piece of writing in this format? Or if you have existing writing using this theme, please do submit it. If you don’t, please consider adapting something you’ve already written, so that the story is told entirely in the spoken voices of the characters.

We look forward to your creative input, whether in poetry, prose, short story or an excerpt from a longer work. Please think in terms of a maximum of 10 minutes of reading or around 1500 words. You can read the dialogue as multiple voices yourself or ask others to help you as the additional voices.

Telltales will take place at Falmouth Princess Pavilion on Tuesday 31 January, starting at 6pm.
